Welcome campout for new scouts that joined in January and February as well a focus on the cooking Merit badge and First class emphasis. The Golden Spoon was won by the Trustworthy Tigers patrol.
5 scouts earned Scout rank, one scout earned second class, one earned first class and one earned star rank. Scouts also set up and taught Axe and saw for the new scouts to earn their Totin Chit.

The troop camped at Government Canyon state park on the path for the solar eclipse. We started Saturday with a hike to see dinosaur tracks and then enjoyed the solar eclipse. Then we went to the Alamo and finished the day with star and planet gazing
A crew went to sea base Florida for the Keys Sailing adventure with 3 days live aboard and 4 days at Sea Base in the florida keys with fishing, kayaking, snorkling, paddle boarding and lots of other fun. We ended the trip by going to an alligator farms and did an airboat trip in the everglades.
At the Lock in we watched a movie and play nerf war. A lot of fun.

Summer camp 2023 was at Lost Pines in Bastrop. Scout earned many merit badges and had a lot of fun in the blazing heat
The troop helped put flags at Veterans Memorial for Memorial Day.

The troop made a visit to the Texas State Capitol and hiked at McKinney Falls State Park. Some scouts completed their Emergency preparedness merit badge with Mr. Smallwood

Scouts build and spend the night in survival shelters. They learned about signaling and water purification
The Scout and adults braved the rain and went for Camp Strake for the day to shoot Rifle and Shotgun and work on the merit badges.
The Troop Leadership Training was held on Friday 14 Oct at St Timothys and followed by a campout where AOL scouts from surrounding packs were invited to camp from Saturday to Sunday, Make rope and build balistas to launch tennisballs in a legendary balista shootout.
The Troop went to Tellepsen Scout camp to canoe, Fish and have fun. A canoe relay was won by the Amazing axolotis and Trustworthy Tigers joint patrol and the golden paddle was awarded. It was great weather for canoeing and swimming in the lake and fishing was successful for many scouts with some catching largemouth Bass and others catching bluegills.
The troop went to Camp Alexander in Pikes Peak Council Colorado for summer camp 2022. Four Scouts earned rank advancement while at summer camp and scouts completed many merit badges and rank requirements. All scouts and most adult leaders went river rafting on the last day on Arkansas River in Brown Canyon which was a great and exciting experience for both scout and adults.

I great camp out with many activities such as Rifle, shotgun shooting, boating, swimming, fishing and more. Lukas won the overall fishing competition and a 9.25inch bluegill and Ryan F. won his session with a slightly smaller fish. We ended up leaving Saturday evening at 10PM due to severe weather forecast overnight.
Scout cooking is always interesting. The scout did a great job and everyone survived with stomach problems. This was part of the cooking merit badge class to get scout started down the path of completing the merit badge which requires a lot of cooking at home and at campouts.
The troop also completed mulching around St. Timothys Church as a service project. Thank you to all the scouts and adults that came out to help. The Church was very happy with the result.
A cold campout at Enchanted Rock Natural area. Great hiking and up Enchanted rock and on the trails around the park. The Philmont crew practiced hiking with gear and did a longer hike than the younger scouts. On Sunday we got up around 6:30am and packed up and had a scouts own service before heading to the Buc'ees in Bastrop for lunch before we headed back to Houston.
We camped prior to the Soaring Eagle district Webelo meet the troops event on 23th Oct 2021 @ St. Timothy's Church. The focus of the campout was on First Aid and completing merit badge requirements and teach the visiting Webelo first aid. We had a great First Aid relay race where the Passive Penguins patrol won.
The troop had a great Canoe Campout on the Colorado River in Bastrop TX with Bastrop River Company. We got put in Saturday morning and paddled 8 miles. The weather was great. We arrived at Scout Island around 2pm and spend the afternoon swimming and relaxing. Everyone cooked their MRE meals and we had a campfire with skits and thorns and roses. On Sunday we got up around 6:30am and paddled 6 miles into Bastrop. Lunch was at the Buc'ees in Bastrop before we headed back to Houston.
