Purpose

Troop 626 has been a scout led troop since 1969 and continues to strive to provide opportunities for the growth of young men with high-adventure, scout leadership, and an excellent merit badge program.

Welcome to Troop 626

Troop 626 is a Boy Scout Troop in Northwest Houston.  Our charter partner is St. Timothy Lutheran Church. We are a member of the Red Wolf District, which is a part of the Sam Houston Area Council, covering the Houston metro area.

Purpose of Scouting:

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, as incorporated on February 8, 1910 and charted by Congress in June 1916, is to provide for boys and young adults an effective educational program designed to build desirable qualities of character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.  

Troop Meetings:

Troop 626 normally meets every Monday evening from 7:15 - 8:45 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 14225 Hargrave Rd, Houston, TX 77070. 

New scouts and Webelos are welcome to come visit any Monday. Please reach out to our scoutmaster or committee chair so we know you are coming.
